Among Us’ newest update was a part of the Nintendo Direct 2024 announcements, which occurred on June 18, 2024, and it introduces a bunch of new roles for players to experiment with. These roles will arrive with update v2024.6.18, which comes out on June 18, 2024.
The roles are quite simple and easy to understand. Here’s a list of each role and what they do in Among Us.
- Tracker – The Tracker can keep tabs on Crewmates through the minimap, allowing them to pinpoint specific players and their locations.
- Noisemaker – The Noisemaker is an Impostor’s worst enemy as their death will alert the entire crew, drawing suspicion to their killing.
- Phantom – The Phantom is an Impostor role that basically turns the character briefly invisible, allowing them to kill and run away without being detected by normal means.
