How to Get the Blade of Mercy Talisman in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC

Is this a Bloodborne reference? Can it be? Please?

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is a massive expansion with tons of new content, weapons, talismans, and items to obtain. Each Talisman can dramatically improve your build, and boost different stats. It’s the same case in the expansion, and there are tons of useful Talismans to find. Here is how you can get the Blade of Mercy Talisman in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC to boost your attack power.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Blade of Mercy Talisman Location

The Blade of Mercy Talisman is found in a chest in the Scorched Ruins.

  • Make your way to the Scorched Ruins by following the path on the map from the first site of grace. Upon reaching it, jump on the platform to the very left of the ruins.
  • After that, double-jump to the next platform, and jump straight into the building ahead. You’ll have to kill two enemies in this room.
  • Take a right after this, and continue moving forward.
  • After climbing the platform, you’ll see a door on your left.
  • Head inside, and open the chest to obtain the Blade of Mercy talisman.

Blade of Mercy Talisman

The Blade of Mercy Talisman raises attack power after each critical hit. Based on my testing, the attack damage doesn’t actually stack, but is rather boosted for some time after you perform a critical attack. Check out the description below.

If you’re using a weapon that has rapid attacks, this is the perfect talisman to add to your build, because it provides a fairly significant boost. Like other talismans, its weight is minimal, and only 1.3.

There are plenty more talismans to find in the expansion, and there’s a lot of build variety as well. For more on Shadow of the Erdtree, make sure to follow our dedicated section.
