Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Logur, Beast Claw Location and Guide
To obtain the Beast Claw weapon, you’ll have to defeat the aptly named Logur, the Beast Claw NPC close to the starting area in the Realm of Shadow. Check the map below for the general location:
You can find Logur, the Beast Claw roaming amongst the forest creatures in the wooded area southeast of the initial Gravesite Plain grace site. You’ll know it’s him when you spot a shirtless man wandering around the trees, equipped with a pair of ferocious claws on both hands.

How to Beat Logur, the Beast Claw
Logur, the Beast Claw is extremely aggressive, often launching toward you with a barrage of quick attacks. To defeat him, you’ll need to carefully keep your distance and bait out his combo attacks. After he unleashes a 5-hit combo, he’ll be open to a few attacks, which is the perfect time to strike.
As with all Soulslike fights, be careful not to get too greedy. Logur is very agile, and can easily dodge roll out of your attacks and follow up with a quick counter-swipe or two. If you have no way of blocking, you’ll open yourself to massive damage.
If you have any ranged attack options, like magic spells or Arts of War, you can use them to assist you in opening him up for an attack. I found success by using Rogier’s Rapier with the Glintblade Phalanx ability.
It is not recommended to attempt fighting Logur while on horseback, as he can easily knock you off with his agile movement. You’ll do best with both of your feet on the ground for this duel.
Once defeated, Logur will drop his signature weapon – the Beast Claw.
