Square Enix provided updates on multiple titles during yesterday’s excellent Nintendo Direct, including Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, a full remake of the classic JPRG. It’s coming to multiple platforms as well as PC, which we’re glad to see Square Enix provide more support for over the years when it comes to JRPGs. With the Steam page up, we have our first look at the technical side including the Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven system requirements.

Just like the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, the requirements for this remake aren’t very high. If you want to play at high settings at 1080p with a 60 FPS target, you’ll need something like a Ryzen 5 1400 paired with GTX 1060. Both of these are basically ancient at this point, and most PC users shouldn’t have much trouble with this at all.
Apart from that, you need 30 GB of free space, and 8 GB of RAM is recommended.
Even on lower-end hardware like the GTX 950, the game can maintain 30 FPS at 1080p.
