As you journey through the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2, you will come across the Bunch of Flowers item. By itself, it seems to serve no purpose. But, it is quite a useful item to have on hand at all times. Especially if you plan to become the town’s sweetheart.
What Does the Bunch of Flowers Item Do in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
There’s a lot to do in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and very little is explained to you. It’s a game of mostly trial and error. Fortunately, the bunch of flowers item has quite a sweet and simple purpose. There are two uses that I have come across during my time with the game.
A Quest Item in the Gift of Giving Side Quest
When exploring the Vernworth Slums, towards the entrance, you will come across a young girl named Daphe who is looking for two different items that she wants for rather sentimental reasons. One of them is the bunch of flowers. Simply give them to her to progress the quest forward.
Raising a Character’s Affection Level
You can gift items to most of the named NPC’s in the game. Once you interact with them, if you can give them a gift, there will be an option to do so. There are a few reasons for you to do this. The first is to raise the affinity of the characters in the game. There are two trophies related to affinity levels, and there are other benefits as well, such as shopkeepers giving you a potential discount if they’re fond of you, receiving gifts, and even potential relationships with very specific characters. With the world in the state that it is, it’s kind of nice to spread a little kindness.
It’s a good idea to keep them on hand at all times, but if you forget and have some stored away, you can access your storage at any location. And don’t worry if you ever end up being sent to jail, as we have you covered there too.
