and what about cross-progression?

Concord, the upcoming hero-shooter from Firewalk Studios and PlayStation Studios is coming to both PC and PS5. PlayStation is committing to its day-one release plan for its live-service titles, and Concord is releasing on both platforms simultaneously. However, does Concord have crossplay support? Here is everything you need to know.

Does Concord have Crossplay Support?

Yes, Concord has full crossplay support between PC and PS5.

This was confirmed on Concord’s Steam, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation Store pages.

Does Concord have Cross-Progression Support?

Yes! Concord also has cross-progression support between PC and PS5.

This means you can enjoy all of your progress and unlocked content regardless of your platform. Additionally, players can access PlayStation features – like Trophies and the PlayStation Friends list.

Concord requires a PlayStation Network Account regardless of which platform you choose to play on. This means that Concord is another PlayStation published title that isn’t available worldwide, and many regions will not be able to pre-order, or play it. This is because PlayStation doesn’t officially operate in these regions.

Concord Release Date

Concord is coming to PC via Steam, and the Epic Games Store, as well as the PS5 on August 23, 2024.

You can pre-order Concord from the links below:

Make sure to read up more about the pre-order bonus content, and how you can sign up for the beta.

Giving players crossplay and cross-progression support from day one ensures a healthy player base and improved matchmaking. This is a great move by the team, and we’re hopeful that the Beta in July ends up being more special than the original release.

Like Helldivers 2, Concord is priced at $40, which lowers the entry barrier. The developers have also confirmed that post-release characters, maps, and game modes will be completely free. However, the fact that the game is delisted in so many regions is definitely concerning, and we hope that PlayStation addresses this soon so more players can enjoy their multiplayer and single-player titles.
